BridgeOfAllan.info is delighted to support Johnny Dreczkowski, a retired Bridge of Allan police officer, as he embarks on a remarkable 2,500-mile solo cycle from Stirling Castle to Marrakesh, Morocco!
Johnny is taking on this epic journey to raise vital funds for the Eilidh Brown Respite Home, a sanctuary offering support to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Starting in May, Johnny will cycle through seven countries, tackle the Pyrenees mountains, and cross into Morocco, where he’ll reach the finish line in Marrakesh. This six-week solo trek will be entirely self-supported, with Johnny relying on sheer determination to complete the challenge.

The Eilidh Brown Respite Home, designed by Johnny’s wife Ally Croll, provides a peaceful space for families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. To continue its work, the home needs £50,000 annually, and Johnny’s ride is a bid to raise both awareness and funds. Over the years, Johnny has raised over £100,000 through various challenges, all made possible by the generosity of our community.
